Refined Bordeaux blend style Napa red wine ,this is a sophisticated wine that artfully combines the artistry of the Old World and power of the New World; the wine has a brooding garnet red-purple color, ripe black cherry and mocha nose and concerntrated flavors of cassis, chocolate and a touch of tabacco; at 14.1%this is a heady wine with smooth,well-strutured tannins and a pleasingly long and subtly oaky finish; match with roasted leg of lamb, roast beef and stuffed roasted loin of pork; since 1978 Pine Ridge Winery has produced a series of very good Old World styled wines with New World technology.
