毫無疑問地，這是一款濃厚、強勁的新世界紅酒，呈深紫紅色，剛開始有點封閉，後來散發出明顯的成熟黑色醬果、紅色醬果與香料芬香，濃郁的李子與櫻桃風味，近乎果醬味道，並夾雜些微巧克力與皮革味，單寧頗強勁，餘韻雖然澀，仍非常柔順且圓潤，可搭配烤火雞、牛排、羊排或燉羊肉。果農出身的John Kautz於1948年級從事釀酒，到了1980年份，開始在Ironstone葡萄園釀造頂級佳釀，極受好評，曾贏得無數國際大獎。
Unmistakably exuberant and powerful New World red wine, this wine has a deep purple red color, initially reserved than very expressive nose of ripe black and red berries and spices and concentrated almost jammy flavors of plums,cherries along with hints of chocolate and leather; the finish is long and tannic but remarkably smooth and round; enjoy with roasted turkey, steaks, lamb chops and mutton strws; in 1948, farmer John Kautz starting making wines and by the late 1980s started making premium wines from Ironstone vineyard that are now highly regarded and have won numberous international competitions.
